I got this arbor because I liked that it came with a gate. It’s definitely a good bang for the buck. I gave it 4 stars because it looks nice, it’s easy to assemble and it’s not too heavy. I gave it 3 stars for sturdy, because it probably the gate is a little tricky to keep lined up, but it’s also because I don’t have a very level yard space to work with. Either way, if you’re in the same boat I’m in, try to prepare the surface of your yard first if you want the gate to line up correctly.Pictograph for assembly instructions. Don’t tighten screws until you have assembled to make sure the ends are in right position. Some ends are tapered and I had one section reversed and you can’t insert two un tapered ends together. Other than that finished product is nice.Very cute . The gate was hard to line up. But can be done. Wished I got something alittle sturdy but it will do where I put it more for looks and I am going to buy a sturdy one but good for decoration purposes I thinkOver all it was what I was expecting and I like itDon’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful piece when built but while assembling it I came into some trouble due to bent bars. I used a pair of pliers to open up the dented pieces so they’d actually be able to slide into the secondary bar so you put in the screws/bolts properly. Other than the bent bars I had to fix up a bit it was easy to assemble and light weight while also being sturdy.I am not sure why a number of people are so critical of this arbor. I just put it together in two pieces in my living room in about 20 minutes and I will put the two parts together outside as soon as the rain stops. It is true that there are no step-by-step instructions to spoonfeed you through it, but the diagram is very accurate if you really look at it and the order you do things probably isn't critical. I will use some deep stakes to stabilize it in the ground, attaching the arbor to those with black zip ties and I think it will be a nice arbor for whatever I decide to plant. For the price, this exceeded my expectations.If you have any issues, they make it right. This item is light tho.I like arch but I ordered one with a gate which did not make it.
