Indeterminate - First grown in Marion South Carolina, this tomato helped farmers in that area have a reliable marketable crop that could outcompete other varieties, one that tasted better too. Originally intended to be a processing tomato, these tomatoes were used in ketchup, soup, paste, and sauce, but today can be consumed fresh. Plants produce large clusters of 3-6 tomatoes weighing an average of 8 oz. and offer a very traditional “vine ripened” tomato cluster that sells well in market and tastes great in the kitchen. Bred to thrive in hot, humid conditions.
