How did I not have one of these as a kid?! This is for my 6 month son's room who loves having a "fort like" anything over his bassinet. Usually we use a super light white muslim swaddle cloth pinned up high above his bassinet, and he loves it! I think it just makes him feel protected. We are still putting his nursery together, and I couldn't love this more. It's sheer, but still will block out light. And I can pull it almost all the way around the crib on the sides and the split is open so he still has plenty of light coming in if he wants it. Great price, Cotton like feel, breathable and the cute touches is what sold me...dream catcher ( my thing ) since I was a baby, I've always had one over my bed. Such a cool touch and I can't get over the star lights. It's just magic. Easy to wash, just cold water and tumble dry or hang to dry. It looks wrinkly but personally I love it bc it goes with the theme of his room. Forest, bears, trees, tents... got the vibe going on for sure.Best of all, EASY PEASY to put together. They give you 2 different ways to fasten it to the ceiling, one is plastic. Looks like a cloud, has a hook that fits through a hole in the flat cloud (kind of like a light switch) and you stick it to the ceiling and hang it on the plastic hook. We went with the other option of drilling a hole in the ceiling, putting an anchor in the hole and screwing a metal hook into the anchor till tight. My son grabs at everything so I didn't want him to be able to grab at the cloth and pull it hard enough to yank the adhesived/cloud/plastic hook off the ceiling and land on his head.Highly recommend. Just buy it! Boy or girl. Lots of color options :)
